October 5th, 2007 • Site: No More Updates

I have decided to close the doors of Eva-Amurri.com. While I’ve loved operating it these past few years and making it the first and only site on Eva Amurri, I have now come to the decision of letting it go. I am simply very busy with my work and university studies and it can be difficult to keep the interest going, especially when I have not had the chance to actually see any new movies of Eva since Saved!. However, as we know, Eva has new and exciting projects on her plate so perhaps I will bring back the site one day when I am less busy and more motivated on working the site.

I think that Eva has so much potential as an actress and I am happy to perhaps have introduced some of you to her work, and/or served Eva-Amurri.com a place to learn more about her. I will carry on being a fan and following her career with much excitement.

I wish to thank Gertie for hosting us, April for building and maintaining the site with me, all the fans who’ve left feedback over the years and, last but certainly not least, Eva Amurri herself for being so supportive of the site.

Update: Instead of fully closing the site, I have come to the decision of keeping it up as an open archive. There are still no other sites online on Eva so I figured it would be best to keep it as reference source for new - and old - fans of Miss Amurri!

September 10th, 2007 • Toronto Film Festival - In Bloom Premiere

In Bloom saw its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday and Eva Amurri, along side her co-stars, was in attendance to promote the film. Again, she looks radiant and stunning in her green dress! This may actually be one of my all time favorite Eva looks. The film itself has been getting rave reviews - read on for one by The Hollywood Reporter.

For her part, Thurman convincingly pulls off a tricky part, while Wood also impresses as a bright, attractive young woman who is alternately hurt and emboldened by her “loose” reputation.

Good, too, is Amurri as her accepting, church-going girlfriend.

September 9th, 2007 • Two New Events

Miss Amurri recently attended two new events - the New York premiere of Romance & Cigarettes and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2008. She looks really lovely and happy and it is always great to see her out and about!

August 21st, 2007 • Additional Event Pictures from 2007

I’ve updated the gallery with two additional pictures from the Diane Von Furstenberg Fashion Show and 25 new ones from the Tribeca Charlie Banks Premiere. Eva looked stunning at both events! Hopefully some new ones will surface soon.

August 11th, 2007 • Welcome to the New Eva-Amurri.com!

Welcome to the brand new version of Eva-Amurri.com!

First of all, I must apologize for the overtly long downtime. I was going to re-open the site way back in June but I came to a technical hitch and was unable to solve the problem. Then I moved house and lost my internet for two months. I finally got it back and was able to put some much needed work into this site… And here we are! Without further ados, Mycah created this wonderful new layout for us. I hope you like it as much as I do! All of the pages have been revamped and updated with new information. Be sure to view the gallery for stunning new pictures of Eva, including stills from Charlie Banks. We are also looking for new affiliates so do not hesitate to apply!

A lot has been going on in the world of Miss Amurri as of recent. She was seen at the Tribeca Film Festival promoting Charlie Banks back in April and has been getting great reviews for her performance as Mary! In Bloom will premiere next month at the Toronto Film Festival. And she has a new movie coming up, Animals, her first horror flick! Read all about it here.

Be sure to stay tuned at Eva-Amurri.com for the latest on Eva and her new movies!
